Gov. Conspiracies

The Mafia-Like Nature of Government

Why Voting Alone Won’t Fix the Broken System of Government

In his video “The Problem of Government,” Eric Dubay presents a thought-provoking argument about the inadequacy of government and the fallacy of believing that voting for a new leader every few years will bring about significant change. Instead, Dubay compares the government to a mafia organization, offering protection in exchange for obedience and payment, and using violence and coercion to enforce compliance.

The problem lies in giving one privileged class the legal right and obligation to initiate violence and coercion against the rest of the population. This is manifested in the form of police and taxes, which are both immoral and unacceptable. Governments, regardless of their form, do not respect the rights of individuals to opt out of being governed and, as a result, cannot be improved or made moral from within.

As awakened truth seekers, it is time to seek alternative solutions outside the political system. We must start creating our own systems of self-governance and cooperation that respect individual rights and freedoms. This requires breaking free from the illusion of political solutions and recognizing that the government is not our protector, but rather our oppressor.

By embracing alternative solutions and creating our own systems of self-governance and cooperation, we can truly break free from the grip of the government and create a better world for ourselves and future generations. The time has come to acknowledge the reality of the mafia-like nature of government and take action to build a better society.
